What files do I need?

Upload two saved pages for each game: one Box Score page and one Plays page. For example, a three-game upload should have six files: box1.mhtml, play1.mhtml, box2.mhtml, play2.mhtml, box3.mhtml, and play3.mhtml.

How do I save game files from GameChanger*?

1. Use Google Chrome on your computer.
2. Find your opponent's first game in GameChanger*.
3. Open the Box Score tab.
4. Choose Save Page As and select Webpage, Single File.
5. Save with a simple name, like box1.mhtml.
6. Open the Plays tab and save again, like play1.mhtml.
7. Repeat for each game, then upload all files together.

What file types can I upload?

Scout Deck accepts saved .html and .mhtml game files. Other file types are skipped or marked failed so they do not start processing by mistake.

How long does processing take?

Most uploads finish in a few minutes. Full-season uploads can take up to about 5 minutes.

Do I need to sort or rename files before uploading?

No. Upload the box-score and play-by-play files together. The files do not need a specific name, and you do not need to sort them into folders. Scout Deck identifies and pairs the files during processing. Simple names like box1.mhtml and play1.mhtml can make your own review easier, but they are not required.

What do I get after processing?

You get a PDF scout report and a Full Stat Workbook. The PDF is built for game preparation. The workbook includes detailed batting, pitching, spray, and log information.

How long do downloads stay available?

Report downloads stay available for 7 days after the upload is finalized. Source game files are deleted 24 hours after processing.

Does Scout Deck use AI to prepare reports?

No. Scout Deck does not use AI to analyze uploaded game files or calculate scouting reports. Reports are generated with deterministic, reproducible computer code.

That means the same saved game files should produce the same stats, warnings, workbooks, and PDF report each time. Uploaded game data is not sent to an AI model for interpretation.

We tested AI-assisted approaches early on, but they were not reliable enough for baseball and softball scoring. A scouting report has to handle thousands of possible play descriptions, substitutions, scoring decisions, and edge cases. AI could appear correct while still missing uncommon plays, changing answers between runs, or producing stats that were hard to verify.

Scout Deck is built as a tested parsing and data-analysis platform for baseball and softball statistics.

How accurate is Scout Deck?

Scout Deck is designed to be very accurate, and most uploads are processed with no errors. It uses reproducible code to read saved game pages, calculate stats, build spray charts, and generate reports.

That said, travel, adult, rec, and tournament scoring data can be messy. Issues can happen when a scorer edits a game after the fact, when player names are entered inconsistently, when substitutions are unusual, or when a rare play description does not match the expected pattern. Those issues can sometimes affect an individual player's stats.

In most cases, even when a small issue appears, it does not change the overall scouting conclusions. The report is meant to help coaches spot tendencies, strengths, risks, and patterns across a team.

Scout Deck also includes quality checks that look for possible mismatches or unusual situations. When we find an edge case, we work to improve the parser and tests so the same issue is flagged, handled, or corrected going forward.

Scout Deck is $5/month after a 7-day free trial. Subscription checkout and billing are handled through Stripe.

How do I request account deletion?
